What do we say when the opportunity arises to revistalise an iconic Australian theme park? Challenge accepted!
The Iconic Dreamworld Flyer and Globe presented the perfect opportunity for us to flex our creative muscles and bring some fresh ideas for making these spaces work.
The original globe was relocated and a new deck was placed in front with disability access, and of course, the perfect spot for visitors to have their photo moment!
In collaboration with Badge Constructions, Ink Duck is proud to have contributed to the creation of the Dreamworld Flyer. This thrilling ride reaches heights of 7 meters and speeds of up to 48 km per hour, accommodating up to 64 guests. It's enhanced with a water fountain and 3000 LEDs that cast a spectacular glow over the park.
With a thoughtful design that is fully accessible for every ride enthusiast the Dreamworld Flyer is the ideal attraction for family enjoyment.
Working in a highly public environment, there were plenty of stakeholders on this project, bringing a high level of importance to valuing budget and managing costs in an inflated construction market.
Ink Duck acknowledges the traditional owners of the land we live, work and build on and pay our respects to all Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and First Nations People.
