Ink Duck collaborated with Loreto College to transform a heritage-listed building into a modern administration and teachers hub. The project involved redesigning a poorly conceived 1980s infill to create a functional and aesthetically pleasing space. Key aspects of the development included the creation of team hubs designed for both private, independent work and collaborative teacher engagement, along with dedicated spaces for private student tutoring.
The redesign focused on maximising natural light and reconfiguring office spaces to enhance usability and comfort. Acoustic treatments were carefully integrated to support privacy in workspaces while fostering collaboration where needed. Sensitive heritage restoration was central to the project, with renovations honouring the building’s original design and reinstating traditional colours and finishes.
Efficient cost management allowed for substantial savings, enabling additional work to be undertaken within the original budget. The project was delivered ahead of schedule, providing Loreto College with an enhanced space sooner than expected. This achievement reflects Ink Duck’s commitment to value-driven outcomes.
